 The Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged (ACHA) program is designed to assist frail, low income older people who are renting, in insecure housing or who are homeless, to remain in the community through accessing appropriate housing linked to community care.
The Home and Community Care (HACC) Program provides a range of services that support people who live at home and whose capacity for independent living is at risk of premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care. The services are provided to frail-aged people and younger people with disabilities, and their carers.
